CABLAM!!!!!
ummmmmmmm wow.....my mind has been officially melted. We have heard ever since we got here about a guy named Al Mcbryan that was going to be speaking to us and how he would melt our brains....well they werent kidding. He has been speaking this week and I am officially wowed. haha. Today I made the mistake of asking him a question at the beginning of class.....we ended up not ever getting to what we were going to talk about for the day...haha. I basically asked him about predestination and God's Foreknowledge. We talked about it for the whole class time today and he answered some really really important questions in my mind. Just from today I have such a deeper knowledge of that topic than I did before. If you wanna know more about it just give me a hollar and I'll do my best to try and relay the information. But yea, thats basically what is going on and its awesome!!! Now im gonna go collect the pieces of my brain that have been scattered across the room. adios

hey guys, today was a good day. Our teacher had to leave a day early so we didn't have any class today. Generally on Fridays we have two classes followed by our "reflection" time which usually consists of us doing skits or something of that nature to represent what we learned during the week. Well since our teacher left early we played capture the flag instead with the SOME school and it was RIDICULOUSLY awesome haha. And we also had a worship and intercession time instead of class. The worship was really good. Two of the guys in our class play guitar so they tag team and lead us in worhsip...its quite cool. So usually on fridays we go evangelizing but today we arent because a bunch of staff are leaving tomorrow morning at 4:30 for some conference somewhere. So i think a couple of us are going to the beach instead....its gonna be tight!!! haha well i gotta go...talk to yall later

HEY HEY HEY
Hey everyone, i know its been a while but this is gonna be short and sweet. I've decided to try and update more often but they will be shorter because of that. So here we go...I've been really busy because we have really added more stuff to our schedule so I am busy almost all day most of the days and its kinda been gettin to me a little in the sleep area. For about that last 2-3 weeks I have been waking up every night between 3 and 5...every night. And I dont know why...so I'm gonna try and figure that out. I talked to someone about it today and they said just to pray about it so thats what im gonna do and I'll fill you all in on what transpires. Well I said it would be short and sweet so I'm gonna go now. Bye!

i cant really think of a title
Hey everyone, sorry about the long gap in between my posts again...im a busy guy, haha. To start off, for those of you who are friends with me on facebook, you can check out some pictures that i threw on there yesterday. And if you arent my friend...then become my friend and then look at them. And if you dont have a facebook then just bum off of one of your friends and look at them through their facebook...whatever works. So anyway, spiritual warfare last week was AMAZING. I guess our teacher is like famous around the world...so that was pretty sweet. To give a quick example...he spoke at a conferance in a province in China that consisted of 200 Chinese underground church leaders. He was THE speaker for this conferance. He spoke all day long for a couple days. He had to be snuck in and everything...i think thats pretty tight. So thats just a quick example of our teacher. If you would like details on the class, feel free to shoot me an email or phone call and i'll see what I can do. Anyways, the weeks have been flying by. I've already been here a month and it only feels like a couple weeks at the most. I guess that means i'm having a really good time so thats a good thing. I no longer feel like a freshman. I feel like one of the normal YWAMers now which is a pretty sweet feeling. And since we have gotten into the regular schedule it has been harder to find time to get on the interenet. And this past weekend I was sick so I pretty much slept the whole weekend. Well, im out of time, I have dinner prep soon so I gotta run. I'll try and update sooner than next week. C ya everyone!

A busy busy week
Hey guys and gals, I know its been a whole week without a posting on here and I apoligize but it was a REALLY busy week. One of the other schools, the SOME, was in Miami evangelizing for the week so all the rest of us had to pick up the slack on work duties and other items such as that. We also had a few more classes than normal with a few extra things we did. So it was really busy and honestly, when I had some free time I used it to either chillax or sleep. Oh yea, and we had to finish reading our first book by friday so that also took away some of my precious blogging time. But im not gonna go on trying to explain my lack of blogs. Instead i'll actually explain to you some of the things that went on. This past week the teaching was on something called, "The father heart of God." Which was all about God as our heavenly father. It was a pretty intense week that ended with a four hour session dubbed as forgiveness friday. We basically sat in our small groups and forgave everyone who has ever hurt us in any way. We prayed them out loud. It got pretty intense at times as some people revealed some really hurtful times in their lives. So that was this past Friday. Ummmmm this week we are being taught in Spiritual Warfare and i LOVE it. Today was the first day of the teaching and it was amazing. I believe that this is going to be my favorite week by far. Gosh for some reason i cant really think of anything to talk about that happened in the past week although i know that a bunch of stuff happened. Im having a major brain freeze and now i have to go. So sorry about the lack of updates. Ill try and make sure my next blog, which i promise to do within the next 2 days or so, will be filled with stories and details. But now i gotta go...peace!

New week...new stories
Hey everyone! So I heared from a few birdies [who shall remain nameless [brent and lizzy]) that you guys got to hear about my friend demetrius in church. Yea, that was an awesome experience. If you have no idea what I am talking about then just ask one of the named persons above or soemone who attends OCC and they should know about it. Anyways, i'll try and keep you guys updated on that. I hope to work to a point with him that I can take him to church with me. Speaking of church, if you remembered in my last blog I mentioned a church service called status that i was going to attend this week, i promised to tell you all about it. Well we went to it last night and it was AMAZING! Im pretty sure the average age of it was about 25-30. The worship was aweseme and the presence of God was so evident. They sang my favorite song, Mighty to save, and i was pumped. As soon as they broke out into the bridge to start it off i was doing mental fist pumps and smiling as wide as a river freshly flooded after an april rainshower. haha that was so cheesy...anyways, its a really great church and I'm pretty sure i am going to be going there the rest of my time here. Oh yea, and the preaching was really good too. Although i do miss cap'n dubs (Pastor Wayne) sermons a lot. And both dans are pretty good too. ANYWAYS....today we started a new week of classes. The class this week is on Biblical Restoration. Today was really sweet. The YWAM Orlando...head honcho if you will...is teaching on it and he spent our first two hour class telling us his testimony. It is one of the most remarkable testimonies I have ever heard. I felt like i was watching a movie. Later this week i'll tell you guys what I am learning in this class. Today he just talked about how a relationship with God is needed and the different aspects that go into having a relationship with Him. Ummmmmm i cant really think of anything else to say.....oh yea wait....so saturday night all of us DTSers went to downtown disney for a couple hours. Well we were just walking around and we saw a harley davidson store. Well if you remember from my last blog i showed you a picture of John Wayne, the korean. well this is his first time in america so we just had to get a picture of him on a chopper. So i grabbed a leather jacket and he threw it on and jumped up on the chopper. And another piece of information about the chopper...it had an american flag as the decoration on it. So it was awesome! I'll put the picture up later this week for you all to check out. You probably wont appreciate it as much as I did but im still putting it up. Well i think thats all, if i forgot anything i'll just throw it into my next blog. Thanks for spending your time reading my gibberish....BYE!

First week of classes........WOOT WOOT!
YO YO YO! Welcome to my third blog thus far. I would like to thank you for being a dedicated reader of "Natans Musings." As a reward for your commitment, i have included a few pictures at the conclusion of this blog. Anyways, a couple things have happened since my last blog update. For one, we started our real classes on Monday. It has been a really great experience so far. Our teacher this week is Jon Bills. Im not sure if that is how it is spelled but that is how it sounds...so yea, he is teaching on ,"Hearing the voice of God." He has been around for YEARS, so he has so many stories and its been amazing to see and hear all that he has witnessed and been a part of. He has experience so many miracles and all of us DTSers have just been so inspired by his words. On sunday we all attended the church that lets YWAM do most of our functions at. And while it was a rather small church, even smaller than OCC, they really knew how to bust it out during worship. I've never seen so much movement out of a mostly white church. But the worship director reminded me of ray and he even sang some songs that ray usually sings....it was like home away from home. But i dont think i am going to go there every week. There is a church around here called "Status." Its a contemporary church that i heard is really really awesome so I am going to check that out this Sunday and i'll let you all know how that goes. Well im running out of time. I have small group in a little bit so i gotta run back over to the church. Thanks for reading and see you next time!
this is just little old me relaxing at home one night
This is John. He is from colorado. This is him cleaning up in his very attractive apron after lunch one day. He grew up in YWAM bases all over the world.
This is Won-Jon. He is from South Korea. We dont like trying to pronounce that so we call him John Wayne (inside joke) but he is probably the coolest guy i know. He doesnt speak very much english but he is learning quickly. The other day we taught him phrases and words such as, "whats up dawg" "tight" "sick" and other american slang words.
