Weekend worship & wackiness

Hey everyone out there in Illinois land! Its now saturday, probably the most lazy day here at YWAM. We dont really do anything so thats why im on here right now. We got up at 9 today to play basketball to work off all that food we consume throughout the week. It was quite fun. But let me fill you in on the activities of the week that are worth sharing. The week ended really really amazingly. The people in my DTS (Discipleship Training School) have really opened up and started to bond. Its been really fun. The first couple of days were difficult cuz everyone was nervous and shy and we all felt like freshman. But the last couple of days have been really good. We have had a really good time just bonding and getting to know each other. But the one thing that i wanted to make sure i shared with you was what we did last night. Let me explain...so there is a secondary school here called SOME which stands for School of Ministry Evangelism which i can come back and to after i Finish my DTS if i so wish to do. But thats a whole different blog that i may write later. So every friday night the SOME students and the staff go to downtown orlando and evengelize to the people there. Well they invited us DTSers to go if we wanted to so i went. We started out by worshiping and praying on the top of a parking garage looking over the city. After that we broke up into four teams and walked throughout the city just praying over the city about the months to come. It was an amazing time and we actually did talk to one guy because he came up to us asking for money for medicine. So we offered to walk with him to the store but as soon as we said that he bolted. But apparently he is around a lot so hopefully we have a chance to talk to him sometime. So last night was amazing and i cant wait till we actually start evangelizing to the people next week. So yea, I think thats all folks. So im gonna hit the road....adios!
